This page exists to prevent misunderstanding about what our services do and do not include. Please read it before engaging us, and ask if anything is unclear.

We do not issue ISO certificates

Pristine Lex-Tech Associates provides ISO implementation, certification-readiness and audit-support consulting. Certification itself is granted independently by an appropriately accredited certification body, not by us. We have no authority to certify your organisation against any ISO or other standard.

Four distinct categories of work

Legal and regulatory advisory — general guidance on data protection, technology contracts and compliance obligations. This is advisory in nature; where formal legal representation is required, it is provided under a separate arrangement with appropriately licensed counsel.
Technical cybersecurity services — testing, monitoring, and incident-response support, performed by our technical team.
Internal and readiness audits — our own assessment of your controls against a chosen standard or framework, intended to prepare you for external scrutiny.
Independent certification audits — conducted by an accredited, independent certification body. We do not conduct these audits ourselves and have no influence over their outcome.

No guarantees

We do not and cannot guarantee: certification by any certification body; approval by any regulator; successful recovery from a security incident; or absolute, complete cybersecurity. Any consultant, firm, or vendor claiming to guarantee these outcomes should be treated with caution.

Authorised testing only

Penetration testing and other security testing are performed strictly under written authorisation and an agreed scope. We will not test systems without a signed authorisation from someone with the legal authority to grant it.

Confidentiality

All client information shared with us is treated as confidential, governed by the confidentiality terms of the relevant engagement letter or non-disclosure agreement.
